Malaysia Campus Perfecting (Aug 17–30, 2026)
This two-week campus perfecting was wonderful; the Lord's presence and speaking was with us throughout the perfecting. Right from the start of the perfecting, message after message, the brothers showed us the urgent need to see the vision of the Lord's recovery. If we do not have a clear and strong vision concerning the Lord's recovery, we are not intrinsically in the recovery. Our prayer daily to the Lord is, "Lord, show me the vision. I want to see the vision of the age!"
In every age, there is a vision of that age, and we need to serve God according to the vision of the age. We were impressed that even from Adam's time he received a vision from God. From that time on, God gave vision after vision to man, until the last vision in the last two chapters of the book of Revelation, which is the vision of the New Jerusalem. At every age, there are men who seek for God and who serve God. However, if they serve God outside of the vision of the age, their service will not be acceptable to God. During Noah's time, there should be many who are serving and worshipping God; but only eight served with a vision, built the ark, and entered into the ark. In the New Testament, Saul was a classic example of one who serves without a vision. He was persecuting believers and he genuinely thought he was serving God. But thank the Lord that he was gained by the Lord and in Acts 26:19, he boldly declared, "I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision."
When the Lord Jesus was on the earth, a group of Galilean fishermen followed Him as His disciples. Many instances in the Gospels showed us that while they were following the Lord, they did not receive the vision; yet they were clear that the Lord's way was right and were determined to follow Him; they did not receive any vision individually, but the One whom they were following had the vision. Praise the Lord, after the Lord's ascension, it was Peter and his co-workers who were under the vision. Today we may be not clear concerning the vision. But we thank the Lord for Watchman Nee and Witness Lee who brought this vision to us, and we also thank the Lord that there are so many brothers who are still leading us that we can follow.
The age today is the age of the Body. This seeing really broadened our being. We are the many grains that are formed as one loaf (John 12:24). For this, we have to be ground into fine flour (through the cross), and then mingled with oil (by the Spirit), to be made the cake of the church life (cf. Lev. 2:4). In this way, we lose all our distinctions and we care only for the Body, and not for ourselves or even our own local church. It was exposing to see that even having heard such words, we still held on to many of our own differences in the perfecting. "Lord, show me the Body and make me willing to be blended together!"
For us to be built up as the Body of Christ, we need the growth and transformation in life. We were all reminded that without growth and transformation, regardless of how much we talk about the Body, there will not be the building up of the Body of Christ. The reason why we find it difficult to be built up with others is because of the shortage of the growth in life. Life will grow, but we will need to cooperate by paying the price to buy an extra portion of oil. How much we will be transformed depends on how great a price we are willing to pay. Our prayer to the Lord is, "Lord, make me willing to be made willing!" When we count all things loss for Christ, He will fill us and make us ready for the Lord's coming back.
In this perfecting, we also went out to the nearby campuses to contact people and invite our friends to the gospel love feast and also the gospel harvest meeting. We were helped to see that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation (Rom. 1:16), so we should not be ashamed to testify to our friends. This is the work of God, this is the responsibility of the church, and this is also our primary occupation. Although for many of us, this is probably the first time we go out to contact people in this way, we feel really joyful whenever we speak to people about the Lord. In the gospel harvest meeting, we really saw the collective service of every member of the Body, coordinating to serve in different ways. Praise the Lord for the two baptisms!
The campus perfecting concluded with the FTTMY Graduation Meeting. We felt that we are truly blessed that the Lord prepared the training center and the full-time training in Malaysia for us. When we see the FTTMY trainees testifying and consecrating themselves to the Lord, we can only say that this is truly a fragrant testimony of His sweetness. "Lord, we also consecrate ourselves to You. Gain us to be trained by You, gain our whole life to live for the building up of the Body of Christ to bring You back."
