Malaysia Lower Youth Preparatory Training (Dec 23-29, 2023)

Zechariah 12:1 says, “…Thus declares Jehovah, who stretches forth the heavens and lays the foundations of the earth and forms the spirit of man within him.” Praise God that in His creation He made three crucially important items, namely the heavens, the earth, and the spirit of man! The heavens are for the earth, the earth is for man, and man was created by God with a spirit that he may contact God, receive God, contain God, be one with God, and express God.

With this as the underlying burden, the entire lower youth preparatory training stressed on their spiritual exercise and the realization of their spirit. One thing we could surely testify, the Lord has His way to gain all these young vessels through this training.

There was a total of 65 youths, ranging from primary six up till form five, who participated in such a training. Some youths arrived feeling nervous. In fact, nearly half of them came to this kind of training for the first time, not knowing what to expect. However, as the days unfolded, they began to enjoy the training life. Those who initially planned for a short stay now decided to remain until the very end.

The more they came to know and realize their human spirit, the more they enjoyed touching their spirit by the simple way of calling on the name of the Lord. Their released spirit afforded the Lord a way to become contactable and receivable by them. They testified that they loved this kind of training because they were satisfied and filled both outwardly and inwardly. They had a corporate living from the moment they opened their eyes in the morning till the time they went to sleep—corporate morning revival, pray-reading of the word, hymn singing, lessons, grouping or activities, all the meals, corporate night prayers etc. They also learned to enter into the truths. What a foretaste of the Body life!

During some sessions of specific fellowship, they were helped concerning the matters of making friends, how to use their leisure time properly, and the need of learning the national Malay language. This opened up their understanding concerning their manner of life and their human responsibility to do well in their studies.

It was very hard for them to say goodbye to one another on the last day. We pray that all these dear lower youth saints will continue to actively participate in the church life and do well in their studies. May the Lord be merciful to keep them for His recovery and bring them back again next year together with more of their companions to partake of this wonderful training.
