Gospel Harvest Meeting (Nov 19, 2023)
God is the living God who made heaven and earth and the sea and all things in them.
What a joyful day it is! Just by coming together the Lord filled our hearts with joy. Praise the Lord that God is the Lord of heaven and earth, He is the One who created man, even determined the boundaries of our dwelling, that we might seek God, if perhaps that we might grope for Him and find Him (Acts 17:26-27).
Just by coming together the Lord filled our hearts with joy.
For us who have believed for a long time, even this is a gospel that refreshes us very much. God is sovereign in all His arrangement and thank God that He did not send His Son to us to condemn us but to save us (John 3:17). We are so thankful that God’s heart is to save us. He arranged all our circumstances and environment so that He may save us. Even by attending this meeting, we are being saved once again!
Our joy were made even fuller when our gospel friends were being baptized into the kingdom of God! We really experienced what the Lord said in Luke 15 that there is joy in heaven over one sinner repenting. What more, there were seven brothers and sisters who were baptized into the name of the Lord! That night, the whole church rejoiced with them.
“Lord Jesus, we thank You for bringing them into salvation. Thank you, Lord, that they not only believed into You but are also baptized into the Triune God. Lord, keep them always in the enjoyment of You. We pray that they will live the church life together with us. Amen!”

“Although I had heard the gospel and attended Christian meetings before, I did not really know God. I thought that this was just a religion. Later I heard a brother telling us that God is light. But at that time, my eyes were still not open and I did not see light.
Nevertheless, the brothers still cared for me and gradually led me to read the Bible, sing hymns and pray together with them. I came to know that I was a sinful person yet God loves me! He bore all my sins on the cross for me. Thank the Lord, on November 19, 2023, I was baptized to have a new life and a new beginning!”
