Malaysia Lower Youth Perfecting (May 29—June 2, 2024)
The last day of the Malaysia Upper Youth Perfecting is the first day of the Malaysia Lower Youth Perfecting. We are happy that eleven of the upper youths continued to enjoy the lower youth perfecting this time. We had 69 young ones with us this time. What a joy!
God Wants Man to Enjoy Him
With all these youths who are new in the Lord (with some as young as 12-year-old), we want to impress them that God’s desire is for man to enjoy Him. God placed man before the tree of life is for man to enjoy Him. Coming to the youth perfecting is to enjoy Him. Calling on His name is to enjoy Him. Singing hymns in the meeting is to enjoy Him. Whatever we do, it is to enjoy Him! The Triune God flowed out from eternity into time, went through all the processes of incarnation, human living, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension is for us to enjoy Him. Praise the Lord that He is no longer the “raw” God, but He is the “cooked” God for us to eat and enjoy!
Education Sessions
Like the upper youth perfecting, we also had study sessions for the youths. Again and again, we want to impress the youths that they have to be diligent in their studies. In the two study sessions that we had, we tried our best to help the youths in their Bahasa Melayu, with the view that they will learn to appreciate this language and continue to learn further.
Field Trip
In one of the afternoons, we brought these youths to visit the chocolate museum. Just as God needs to be processed to be enjoyed by man, in the same way cocoa beans also need to be processed. It is our hope that this field trip will inspire our youths to better themselves. Receiving chocolates from us were the happiest time for the youth. After the field trip, a quiz was given and the youths who answered best were rewarded with more chocolates.
Klang Valley Combine Youth Meeting
On the last evening of the perfecting, we had a barbecue dinner and the youths from Klang Valley were also invited to join us. Following that, we had an outdoor meeting where the youths were touched by the Lord to give themselves to love Him.
