Brothers’ and Sisters’ House Fellowship (May 11, 2024)

Brothers’ and sisters’ houses are more than just houses for us to live in; they are also the places where we can corporately be prepared to become those whose hearts are the highways to Zion. On this fine morning, the brothers and sisters who are living in the brothers’ and sisters’ house came together for a fellowship. Through this fellowship we came to know more about this life that we have received when we believed in the Lord.

From the day we were saved, we received the divine life into us; this life knows God. We do not need others to tell us what to do or what not to do. This life will teach us and lead us to God. The more we grow in life, the more we come to the full knowledge of Him.

As we grow in life further, we will come to know that this life is a corporate life and this life desires to be built up with the saints as one Body. This is also the reason why we come together to live in the brothers’ and sisters’ house! In this corporate living, we all present our bodies to the Lord to serve Him, but we are just one corporate living sacrifice (Rom. 12:1). This is our rightful place and this is our reasonable service.

“How lovely are Your tabernacles,
O Jehovah of hosts!
My soul longs, indeed even faints.
For the courts of Jehovah.”
Psalm 84:1-2a

Testimonies:

Praise the Lord, it is now the fourth month since I moved into brothers’ house. I can testify that brothers’ house is a place where I know God. There, I see the pattern of my brother loving the word of God and enjoying the meetings. I have not been attending meetings for several years, but now I found the meaning of my Christian life! My fear and doubts about God are gradually resolved. God speaks to me in the church meetings. Living in the church life has indeed strengthened my faith.
— Abel
God has indeed given us many opportunities to serve Him. I treasure that we need to be in the right position to serve God, that is to be a living sacrifice on the altar for God to burn. Only then, our service be well-pleasing to God. May we all present ourselves to God as living sacrifices, and allow Him as the fire to burn us, and break us. This is our reasonable service.
