Gospel Strengthening (Apr 27, 2024)
Praise the Lord that Jesus Christ our Savior is our life Healer! Previously we were like the sick man in John Chapter 5, who was sick for 38 years, living helplessly and regretfully; but hallelujah, tonight, we heard the gospel! In this chapter of the Bible, Jesus asked, “Do you want to get well?” “Yes!” with a joyful heart, 200 over participants tonight responded together. Oh, blessed are those who see and hear what Jesus says.
“Rise, take up your mat and walk!”, Jesus commanded, after asking the question. Immediately, the man became well, and he took up his mat and walked away! Yes, immediately. The healing of the Lord is immediate. There is no need for us to wait another 38 years; the healing is now!
It was a joyful moment for us to witness six brothers and sisters, not even waiting for another day to receive the Lord, but were baptized that night itself! Glory be to God!
Testimony:
“This is the second time I attended a gospel meeting. After the meeting, many brothers and sisters encouraged me to be baptized, including some of my classmates who were also baptized not long ago. Even though I have believed in the Lord Jesus, I still hesitated to be baptized. But through the sharing and encouragement of a brother, I decided to not wait anymore; I was baptized that very night and I was immersed with joy. On the next day, I felt that I was a different person. I am really happy that I can rely on God!”
