Graduating Students Outing (Mar 18, 2025)

Kota Bridge, the first and only double-deck bridge in Malaysia.

As there are a number of campus students graduating this year, we went out together for an outing trip to Klang, inviting all the other students along as well. A total of forty students went out for this outing, of which ten were graduating this year.

After studying and living in the church life for nearly four years, many of us, consciously or unconsciously, look forward for the day we graduate from university. Especially for those of us who are approaching our graduation, we will  naturally start to think and plan for own future. We were all reminded to take some time to think about what God is doing today, and what God wants to gain today.

“What God is doing today is to obtain the Body of Christ.” This word has been resounding in our ears. “Forgive us, Lord, for thinking so much about ourselves. Lord, we want you to gain the Body of Christ.” The fellowship this time was a strong reminder to us that although we may graduate from university, we cannot graduate from the Body life, the church life!

As soon as we believe in the Lord, we are being baptized into the Body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:13). Since then, we became a member of the Body of Christ. As members of the Body, we derive our existence from the Body and we draw the supply from the Body. Regardless of where we go or what we do, let us all continue to receive the supply of the Body! Let us avail ourselves of the fellowship of the Body!
