Malaysia Campus Blending Conference (April 11–13, 2025)

From April 11–13, there were over 200 campus students and serving ones from all across Malaysia participated in the Malaysia Campus Blending Conference held in Kuching. Our heart rejoices to see the younger generation in the Lord’s recovery coming together to blend with one another and being perfected under the ministry of this age! Throughout this weekend, it was an experience for us to be enlarged, to be delivered from our narrow self, from our respective localities, to enter into the practice of the Body life.

The general subject of this conference is “Being Saved in Life and Reigning in Life in the Body Life for the Building Up of the Body of Christ.”

The Body Life Being the Will of God

At the onset of the conference, we zeroed in the book of Romans which gives us an outline of our Christian life. Our salvation is for us to live in the spirit, and by living in the spirit we become living members to live the church life, the Body life. Our eyes are opened to see that the will of God is the Body life. Once we are saved, we are no longer individual Christians but members of the Body of Christ. Not merely are we living the church life at where we are, but we must live the Body life. We marvel that we who were once sinners, whom God has chosen, redeemed, justified, sanctified, and conformed to be the sons of God, are now members one of another, together we constitute the Body of Christ to have the living of the Body of Christ! It is by living the Body life, we become persons in the will of God. We praise the Lord for His complete salvation to save us out of ourselves into the Body! At the time of our salvation, we are no longer individual believers, but becoming the proper, acting and functioning members in the church life through the salvation in life, corporately building the Body of Christ.

Experiencing God’s Salvation in Life by Remaining in the Spirit

To arrive at the Body life in Romans 12, we must pass through Romans 5 through Romans 8. In Romans 5 we are in Adam, in Romans 6 we are in Christ, in Romans 7 we are in the flesh, and in Romans 8 we are in the spirit. Through the death of Christ, we have been transferred out of Adam, through the resurrection of Christ, we have been transferred into Christ! All that we have in Adam is but sin and death, but in Christ we inherit life and righteousness. Today, we are being continually transferred out of the flesh through our being crucified with Christ and into the Spirit through our organic union with Christ as the law of the Spirit of life. Romans 8:2 says, “For the law of the Spirit of life has freed me in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and of death.” This law of the Spirit of life is actively operating to give life to our tripartite being beginning with our spirit (v. 10), spreading to our mind (v. 6), and eventually giving life to our mortal bodies (v. 11), that we might be those who are swallowed up by life to minister life to others! This is the goal of God’s salvation. How we need to turn to Christ in our spirit, to press into the spirit, to be desperate to get into the spirit, and to be watchful to stay in the spirit. “O Lord, we open widely to You, we are willing to turn to You and allow You to work Yourself into us. Make us those who gain more of the Spirit for Your building by the growth of God in us.”

Much More We Will Be Saved in Life to Live the Body Life

When we experience God’s salvation in life, we can no longer be isolated and individualistic, but we are saved from the individualism of the natural life, we forget ourselves and care for others, and we can be built up into the Body of Christ. Throughout the conference, we had many opportunities to allow this divine life to deliver us much more from our independence and individualism. The more we come together, the more we afford the Lord a way to enlarge us, to broaden us.

We are independent, separated, and detached because we are short of life. But this weekend, we experienced the Lord breathing the breath of life into us! In Ezekial 37:5-6, “Thus says the Lord Jehovah to these bones: I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. And I will put sinews on you and bring flesh back on you and cover you with skin and put breath in you, and you shall live; and you will know that I am Jehovah.” As we hear the Lord’s timely speaking ministered to us through the Body, we lived! No longer scattered dry bones, disjointed, detached, but stood up upon our feet to be an exceedingly great army (v. 10). When we stood up to prophesy one by one, we are building up the Body for the fulfilment of Ephesians 4:16, “Out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love.” This conference recalibrated our view in the way we live the church life; our living of the church life is local, but our fellowship should be both local and universal. As a result of being saved in life, we are enabled to live the Body life in the church life, being saved from our self-view, self-goal, and divisiveness. Hallelujah for the Body! We are members of the Body! We are wholly for the Body! Hallelujah, for the Lord has made us one!

Reigning in Life to Live in the Body of Christ

To be an overcomer, we need to be saved in life. To be saved in life equals to reigning in life. The moment Christ as life came into us, we were saved, we are being saved, and we will be saved to the uttermost! We thank the Lord that the salvation we received is a much more salvation. Day by day, this divine life is working in us vigorously, mightily, empowering us to overcome in all circumstances, and we are more than conquerors, we overcome in Him who has overcame! (Rom. 8:31-39) It is only when we experience God’s complete salvation to reign in life, would it be possible for us to live the real and practical Body life in the church life. For the sake of His Body, we present our whole being to the Lord! Our body presented, our soul being transformed, and our spirit burning (Rom. 12:1-2)!

Today the Lord desperately need to have a Body—body life in our localities, body life in our campuses. Dear brothers and sisters, we must make this happen! Let us enjoy Him! Practice the Body life in the church life! Simply follow the Lamb, open to Him, experience Him, to be saved in life and reigning in life. For this, we need much dealings of sin, self, flesh, natural life, and all the negative things, thank the Lord we are in the Body! If we are not in the Body, we will not have such an awareness, but the moment we are put in the Body we will realize, “I’m so selfish. I’m just full of the self!”. From the depths of our being we truly feel that it is a blessing to live in the Body.

A Word of Fellowship to the Younger Generation Concerning the Direction of the Lord’s Recovery

In a glimpse into the kind of work that God has charged the ones who went before us to do, we recognize that the blueprint has passed to our hand, showing what we ought to do, and where we are heading to. In brother Nee’s own word, “Other than having a special calling and commission from God, there would be no need for us to exist independently. The reason we are here is that God has given us a special calling.” Today our Master has commissioned us to do only one kind of work, that is to build up the Body of Christ, by these four aspects, (1) literary work, (2) conducting conferences, (3) building up local churches, and (4) training young people.

We thank the Lord that in Malaysia we have an interpreted, translated, and understood Bible in our national language. For the spreading and advancement of the Lord’s move in this country, there must be some who gives themselves for the translation of all the publications in our midst into this language. Perhaps in a few years times, the Lord will raise up some to be equipped and prepared for the literary work. Not just some, but many more. With these many publications, there must be the speaking through conferences for the churches to be built up. Each time we attend a conference, we must have the desire, “Lord, make me an overcomer!” The overcomers come forth from the churches, they are the manchild who overcome for the church, for all the people of God. Our history in this country begins as early as 1925, at a place call Sitiawan, that was the first overseas church established by Brother Nee. A hundred year later, this country is still not gospelized. For the Lord to progress, there must be workers. To this we would respond, our future is wrecked for the Lord! We have a bright future in the Lord’s recovery! Lord, we want nothing more!

It is the Lord’s mercy that we can hear the sounding of trumpet under this one unique ministry, for the next generation to rise up to carry the Lord’s recovery on. We are the most blessed generation who live in the age of the Body, practicing the Body life for the fulfilment of God’s will. Now is the time for us to give our all for the Body to be built, to be the overcomers in the Body, through the Body and for the Body by daily experiencing God’s organic salvation and reigning in life. “If not us, then who? If not now, then when?” It is in our generation; the Lord will close this age by gaining His Body.

The overcomers are those who see the Body, know the Body, and care for the Body. We should always consider the Body, care for the Body, honor the Body, and do what is best for the Body. The recovery is for the Body, not for any individual or merely for any individual local church. The local churches are not the goal of God’s economy, but a procedure to reach God’s goal, which is the reality of the unique Body of Christ. We need to be rescued from self-seeking back to a concern for the Body, that we might no longer be for our individual profit but for the building up of the Body. We have to pick up a strong resolution by praying, “Lord, I’m going to mean business to live You for Your recovery, for the building up of Your Body. Lord, this is my job. This is my goal.”
