Malaysia Youth Perfecting (Upper) (February 5–9, 2025)

Prior to the beginning of a new school year, there were twenty-two young brothers and sisters in between fifteen and eighteen years old separated their time to be perfected in the Malaysia Youth Perfecting (Upper) held in Kuala Lumpur Hall 1.

As these young people are the future of the Lord’s recovery here, we felt that they should be educated with the basic truths in the Bible and also come to know what the Lord’s recovery is. In this perfecting, the youths are brought to see that as fallen men, we need salvation. On God’s side, He saved us because He loved us. Because He loved us, He sent His only begotten Son to die for us, and He also came as the Spirit to regenerate us and dwell in us.

We also had a series on the church; we want the youths to know what is the church, what does the Bible tells us about the church, and why the church is so important to God and to us. The church is not a physical building. Praise the Lord that we are the church; we are the Body of Christ! As the Body of Christ, we are the expression of Christ.

The history of the children of Israel is a type of the church. The recovery of the temple and the city is the type of the recovery of the church today. While the recovery of the church goes back to the first century, the present recovery among us begins with Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. We deeply felt that the younger ones among us have to know our roots and how the Lord’s recovery is being brought to us. As there are much to be spoken of concerning this, we recommended that the youths read a biography of Watchman Nee that was written by Witness Lee: ”Watchman Nee—A Seer of the Divine Revelation in the Present Age.” Eight of them bought this book right away.
