Youth Outing (Mar 28, 2024)
The Lord has granted us such a great opportunity again to come together.
Hallelujah! The Lord has granted us such a great opportunity again to come together. This time, we were able to blend together through an outing trip to Taman Botani in Putrajaya on March 28, 2024. Ever since the youth perfecting ended, we had been anticipating to see one another again!
One thing we could testify is that the Lord’s word is never rare among us. As Matthew 18:20 says, “For where there are two or three gathered into My name, there am I in their midst.” Whenever we come together, the Lord is with us and His speaking is also with us. That morning, we had the chance to listen to the story of the five loaves and two fish. It never occurred to us that this story can be very much related to us in our daily living and church life.
Three things were mentioned specifically to us, which were eating, giving and blessing. When the disciples were planning to send the crowd away, the Lord replied by saying, “You give them something to eat…” (Mark 6:37). The Lord has no intention for us to starve. Rather, in His creation of man, the first thing that He wants man to do is to eat Him. Praise the Lord, every gathering is an opportunity for us to eat Him and enjoy Him.
However, it was never the Lord’s intention that we would just enjoy Him personally. Rather, using Mark 6:37 as the context, the Lord wants us to supply others with the Christ whom we have enjoyed and experienced. Therefore, we should not despise what they have from the Lord (1 Tim. 4:12). When we are willing to give, the Lord will surely bless. Not only were the crowds filled with satisfaction, but a surplus of twelve full handbaskets remained (Mark 6:41-43). We realized that when we give to the Lord, the Lord will bless abundantly for the sake of the church.
Tower Building Game:
We truly thanked the Lord for such a timely word, that we, as the younger generation in the church, can learn to give what we have, even to experience the Lord’s blessing in the church. We were really happy and satisfied for this youth outing. We are so excited to hear that there are so many upcoming events waiting for us! We look forward to come together again!
